KING OYO VISITS KYEGEGWA DISTRICT WHILE TOURING HIS COUNTY OF KYAKA

All roads were leading to Kyegegwa  to receive  King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru III when he paid a visit to his county of Kyaka,he arrived in the district accompanied by his Ministers led by  the prime ministers represented.

The king was received by the district and cultural leaders who chanted his majesty and welcomed him in the district and his county.

His majesty the king paid a visit in to the District chairperson's office where he was received by the District chairperson Mr.Norman Birungi who thanked the king for honoring his office and said this is all his teritory and he is always welcome.

The King of Tooro Kingdom Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru III was received with a lot of excitment by his subjects who had been waiting for him at Humura Play ground while chanting and dancing the cultural songs and dances.
His majesty was received at the play ground by a big delegation which included district officials, cultural leaders and kingdom ministers.

The King was also entertained by students and pupils from schools who presented cultural dances and songs which the king enjoyed.

The King talked to his subjects there after and asked them to work hard upon eliminating poverty in the kingdom and also thanked his people for attending the function.
